Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 847

“This poor monk has never called himself a master of the Buddhist path. On the contrary, I sense a faint aura of Buddhist cultivation from Benefactor Tang. Such control over one’s power is what truly qualifies someone as a master.”

“As for whether Benefactor Fang respects me or not, it makes little difference to me. I am not money. I cannot make everyone like me.”

Master Mingxuan’s lips twitched. He had almost said “RMB” instead of money. He had been online too much lately. It was becoming a habit.

Still, he continued to smile at Tang Guo. This female ghost was clearly formidable. The faint Buddhist aura she revealed alone made him feel threatened.

He could not afford to provoke her.

Fortunately, those Daoists in the group had privately messaged him earlier. Otherwise, Fang Yunchi would have dragged him into trouble.

When Fang Tianshi had been young, he had tricked him many times, constantly sending various little ghosts to his temple. Since he had once agreed, he had been unable to refuse.

Having suffered under Fang Tianshi before, he would not so easily fall into Fang Yunchi’s trap and rashly show hostility toward Tang Guo.

Did they think he was easy to deceive just because he was a monk?

Besides, this female ghost carried immense merit. The power of faith drifting around her proved that although her actions appeared evil, they had resulted in good.

He had no intention of interfering.

He had only come to see for himself the legendary powerful female ghost.

He had heard that she acted solely according to her will, bold and unstoppable. Fang Yunchi had nearly been driven mad by her several times. He had long been curious. When Fang Yunchi came to him, it gave him the perfect excuse to satisfy that curiosity.

He was also curious about how a ghost and a human could be in a relationship. The jokes online were not as entertaining anymore.

Watching the drama unfold in person was far more interesting than browsing the internet.

Fang Yunchi was nearly furious.

Ever since Tang Guo had appeared, nothing he did had gone smoothly.

His intuition told him that as long as he eliminated Tang Guo, his path would become smooth again.

Besides, she had killed his master. Seeking revenge was only natural.

“Master Mingxuan, are you truly unwilling to help capture this evil ghost?” Fang Yunchi asked darkly.

Mingxuan still shook his head. “It is not something I can manage.”

“Fine. You all say you can’t manage it, right?” Fang Yunchi glared at Tang Guo. “Then I’ll handle it myself. If I can’t kill Tang Guo today, I may not be able to deal with her now, but one day she will fall into my hands.”

Mingxuan silently shook his head. Dream on. Perhaps in a dream he could kill that female ghost.

“Master Mingxuan, from now on I won’t be sending little ghosts to your temple anymore.”

“Any ghost I, Fang Yunchi, encounter in the future will have only one path, death.” Fang Yunchi sneered. “Who told them to cross my path?”

Mingxuan was inwardly relieved. Those little ghosts he could not send off properly had nearly tormented him to death.

That had not been his choice. It was a pit Fang Tianshi had dug for him long ago.

“Benefactor Fang, this poor monk advises you to leave some leeway in your actions. Do not wipe everything out.”

“For evil ghosts like this, it’s best to eradicate them completely.” Fang Yunchi was no longer listening. “Since Master Mingxuan is unwilling, then I shall take my leave.”

He cast Tang Guo a deep look and turned away.

After Fang Yunchi left, Mingxuan walked toward Tang Guo. Just as he was about to speak, his phone rang.

Tang Guo then watched this kindly looking old monk pull a mobile phone from his pocket and answer it with practiced ease.
