Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 708

The effect of the herbs only lasted for about half a month. After that, the beasts would return along their original routes.

On the tenth day after blending in here, Tang Guo and Yin Yao brought the hundred warriors in as well. They had them change into human clothes, explained a series of instructions to them, and then led them to a secluded place to awaken their power.

After Tang Guo’s research, she determined that the mysterious power between heaven and earth only served to connect with the power within a beastman’s bloodline. Once the bloodline awakened, the innate talent carried within that bloodline became their true strength. Those with better talent became stronger, while those with weaker talent would naturally not be as powerful.

Yin Yao belonged to the category with exceptionally strong talent.

The hundred warriors they brought were all carefully selected by Xili. Their talent was naturally good. Almost as soon as they entered the barrier, they felt their power awaken.

That genius half beastman had already died many years ago.

As for why the mysterious power was disappearing, Tang Guo had no interest in finding out. All she knew was that now, developing the Mata Kingdom and unifying the beastman world had become much easier.

To prevent this place from being discovered by Ning Luo’s mates, once the hundred warriors had awakened their power, Tang Guo sent part of them back to inform King Xili of everything here. She instructed King Xili to send warriors to occupy the surrounding nations and tribes near the barrier, and then station guards around it. As for the annual beast tide, when faced with beastmen who had awakened their power, it was simply not enough to pose a threat.

“So we just let those beasts rush in?” This was King Xili’s reply. After consuming the herbs, the beasts would become frenzied. They would definitely damage the buildings they had constructed and cause trouble.

In response, Tang Guo sent another message to King Xili. The letter read:

“Let some of them in. They do not dare attack beastmen who have awakened their power, but they will still attack those who have not, just like before. King Xili should now consider sending more beastmen over to awaken their power and strengthen the Mata Kingdom. As for the remaining beasts, Your Majesty is worrying too much. The warriors have large appetites. With the food delivered every year, do you not think this could save a great deal?”

Yin Yao watched Tang Guo write the letter with his own eyes and could not help praising her happily. “Ah Guoguo is really clever. Beasts are meant to be eaten anyway.”

After receiving the letter and reading it, King Xili slapped his thigh and shouted, “There really is no problem that food cannot solve. Lady Ah Guoguo truly has methods. From now on, the warriors of the Mata Kingdom will never lack meat each year.”

Once these matters were settled, Tang Guo and Yin Yao led dozens of warriors to blend into human society for over three years of study. They intended to learn everything humans knew. Even if they could not learn it directly, they would obtain it and bring it back to research slowly.

Without the humans realizing it, a group of beastmen were reclaiming what humans possessed. No, more accurately, these beastmen were reclaiming their own lost history.

Tang Guo did not particularly care about this. But developing the beastmen was her goal. After all, she was preparing a major move for revenge. Whenever Yin Yao thought of this, he could not help but feel both amused and helpless.

If one day someone asked Yin Yao why his Ah Guoguo helped Xili unify the beastman world, Ah Guoguo would answer without hesitation: revenge.

If others then asked how powerful Ah Guoguo’s enemies were, and later learned that they were merely a tribe hiding deep in the forest, who knew how many people would laugh themselves to death.
