“Shengyuan Sect.”
Mo Yuntian was a little surprised, “Sister, are you sure it is the Shengyuan Sect?”
The Shengyuan Sect was a major sect, no less powerful than the Xingyue Sect. Was his sister planning to take on something big this time?
Mo Yuntian’s mouth twitched. He really wanted to stay out of it.
But he couldn’t help his curiosity and asked, “Sister, who is the disabled person this time?”
It wasn’t surprising that he asked this. Over the years, every time Tang Guo went out, didn’t she always bring back another disabled person? Though they were eventually restored, they had all been crippled before.
He filtered through the various young geniuses of the Shengyuan Sect in his mind, hesitating slightly, “In the past two years, the most prominent genius has been Ji Chengshan. But Ji Chengshan is already twenty years old this year, about the same age as you.”
He suddenly froze. He hadn’t realized that the school flower had already been living in this world for so many years. The further things progressed, the more he felt that she might leave at any moment.
She acted decisively, never hesitating, as if she was in a hurry to finish things here so she could leave. This left Mo Yuntian feeling uneasy.
“It’s him.”
Tang Guo smiled. “Big Brother Mo, let’s go. If we’re late, he’ll be dead.”
Mo Yuntian didn’t hesitate. He immediately gathered his disciples and set off for the Shengyuan Sect. As for Bai Wuqing, he naturally followed behind them. Mo Yuntian couldn’t even be bothered to care about him anymore.
At this moment, something was happening in the Shengyuan Sect.
Feng Feiling from the Xingyue Sect had somehow ended up in a grudge against the Shengyuan Sect’s genius disciple Ji Chengshan. The two had decided to fight in a life-and-death duel, and the sect masters of both sects had come to witness it.
“Chengshan, are you sure you want a life-and-death duel?” The Sect Master of the Shengyuan Sect looked concerned. “That Feng Feiling is not someone to be trifled with. In a duel like this, only one of you will survive. Are you confident?”
Ji Chengshan frowned. “Sect Master, this isn’t about whether I’m confident or not. I never did what she accused me of. If she insists on a life-and-death duel, then so be it.”
“Sigh… Chengshan, she’s in the Fusion stage, while you’re only in the Distraction stage.” That was what the Sect Master of the Shengyuan Sect was most worried about. If Ji Chengshan went up there, his chances of survival were slim.
“Chengshan, why don’t you just admit to it and cripple your own cultivation? At least that way, you’ll be able to keep your life.”
Ji Chengshan was too talented. The Sect Master of the Shengyuan Sect couldn’t bear to see him die. Even if his cultivation was crippled, at least he’d still be alive. As long as he lived, there would always be hope for recovery.
“Impossible!”
Ji Chengshan’s expression turned cold. There was absolutely no way he would admit to something he never did. He, Ji Chengshan, would never commit such an act. With his talent, there were countless female cultivators who admired him. Why would he need to kidnap and assault one? And of all people, that female cultivator just so happened to be Feng Feiling’s friend.
“Ji Chengshan, why are you hesitating? Get up here and accept your death!” Feng Feiling stood on the life-and-death stage, her face filled with hatred. “Today, I will avenge Pei Xue and personally send you to hell!”
Ignoring everyone’s attempts to stop him, Ji Chengshan leaped onto the life-and-death stage, sword in hand.
“I told you, I didn’t do it. I was just passing by.”
Feng Feiling’s expression turned icy. “Everyone saw you take Pei Xue away. If it wasn’t you, then who else could it have been? You never expected that I would pass by and catch you in the act. Pei Xue had a breathtakingly beautiful face. Who’s to say you weren’t tempted by her looks? Hypocrite! You did it, yet you refuse to admit it. Bah!”
Ji Chengshan truly didn’t know how to explain himself. What frustrated him most was that so many people were saying he had taken Pei Xue away.
