“Sister, was all of this done by Feng Feiling?”
Only Mo Yuntian had some understanding of the situation. These people were likely connected to Feng Feiling, but he was still shocked that so many geniuses had fallen at her hands. This Feng Feiling was even more ruthless than a demonic cultivator.
Tang Guo looked up and smiled faintly. “Big Brother Mo, it wasn’t just Feng Feiling. Leng Yeling was also involved. Feng Feiling planned it, but the one who ultimately took action was Leng Yeling.”
Mo Yuntian’s heart trembled, and his expression darkened with anger. “That damned brat.” After a moment of thought, he was still fuming. “I’m going to bring him back.”
“Big Brother Mo, he’s already completely obsessed with Feng Feiling. If you try to bring him back, it will only make things worse. More than that…” Tang Guo paused before continuing, “Feng Feiling will hold a grudge against you. When the time comes, you’ll be the one she targets. Don’t think she wouldn’t dare. You were already on her bad side because of Leng Yeling, and in the end, she orchestrated your death.”
“This…” Mo Yuntian was stunned for a moment before finally snapping back to his senses. “Is this true?”
“It’s naturally true.”
Mo Yuntian swallowed nervously, feeling both uneasy and concerned. “Sister, isn’t it bad for you to casually reveal the secrets of fate like this? Won’t you be punished?”
It wasn’t that Mo Yuntian was afraid of trouble, but those who could glimpse fate and revealed too much were always met with backlash. Many cultivators had failed their tribulations because of this, struck down by heavenly lightning and perishing in their tribulations.
If not that, then disaster would strike out of nowhere, bringing an untimely death.
Simply put, those who leaked the secrets of heaven never had a good ending.
“Don’t worry, even if this world is destroyed, I won’t die.” Tang Guo chuckled softly. “It seems like I’m not bound by the laws of fate.”
In the past, when she didn’t understand this, she had been careful. But ever since she let go and did as she pleased, she noticed that no matter what she said or did, the heavens acted as if they were blind. Nothing happened to her, as if she was invisible.
More and more, she began to wonder about her origins and the reason she kept traveling through these small worlds.
Thinking of this, she couldn’t help but communicate with the system. “Tongzi, you’ve upgraded so many times. Have you remembered anything?”
[Sorry, Host, I still only remember as much as before. There’s nothing new.] The system sounded regretful. [But Host, there’s always a chance you’ll uncover these secrets in the future. Haven’t we already encountered a fake system before? And since I came from the Time and Space Administration, there’s a possibility that another legitimate system exists. What if we run into one someday? When that happens, we can capture it and make it talk.]
“Good idea.”
Tang Guo was still curious about the Time and Space Administration, but she had never been able to find any traces of it.
If she really did come across a legitimate system, it would definitely be worth catching and interrogating.
[Host, what are you planning to do about Bai Wuqing? He seems pretty attached to you.] The system still found it hard to believe that someone as cold and indifferent as Bai Wuqing had silently stuck to the host’s side. It completely broke his usual image.
[Bai Wuqing regrets what he did that day.]
“So what?” Tang Guo whispered with a smile. “He was the one who gave up first.”
Well… alright!
As expected, the host was cold and ruthless, held grudges, and always followed her own set of principles.
“Once we’ve settled things here, we’ll leave this world,” Tang Guo said. “As for Bai Wuqing, let him live with his regrets.”
Alas… the system let out a long sigh.
