Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 529

“The Feisha Sect was taken over by the Demon Sect?”

Feng Feiling only received the news a day later. She frowned and looked at Leng Yeling. “Brother Yeling, did you know about this?”

Her heart sank. There was someone in the Feisha Sect she couldn’t allow to grow stronger. First, she had orchestrated the theft of Wen Yi’s techniques and opportunities, then arranged for his master to be killed. Later, she even provoked a conflict between the two sects. By all accounts, the Feisha Sect should have been nearly wiped out, and Wen Yi shouldn’t have survived.

How did the Demon Sect get involved?

Leng Yeling shook his head. “I have no idea.”

In truth, he had a suspicion. Could this be the work of that Holy Maiden Aunt?

Leng Yeling suddenly realized that, as the Young Sect Master of the Demon Sect, he was completely in the dark about what was happening in his own sect.

That did not sit well with him.

After some thought, he said, “Ling’er, I need to return to the Demon Sect. I’ll come find you in a few days.”

“Alright. Brother Yeling, be sure to look into what’s happening in the Demon Sect. If actions like this provoke the major sects, it won’t end well for you.”

Leng Yeling felt a warmth in his heart. He took Feng Feiling’s hand and said, “I knew you cared about me.”

Feng Feiling wore a bright smile, but in her mind, she was already considering her next target. She was eager to see how those so-called geniuses, once stripped of their opportunities, would fare.

As for Leng Yeling, she had long considered him hers. That one act of saving his life was enough to make him utterly devoted to her. She didn’t even need to put in any effort.

She had already understood how pathetic this man was in her past life. After all, wasn’t it because Tang Guo had once helped Leng Yeling survive a crisis that he had become so loyal to her?

So she wasn’t the least bit concerned about his departure. Right now, she had more important things to do. This was the crucial time for those geniuses to rise, and she had to take their opportunities first. She was far too busy to waste time on romance with that man.

Leng Yeling returned to the Demon Sect with mixed feelings. Seeing that the sect had improved yet again, his emotions grew even more tangled. With how well the Demon Sect was developing, he no longer had the confidence to confront Tang Guo. Instead, he could only find an opportunity to ask someone who was in the know.

“Are you talking about the Feisha Branch, Young Sect Master?”

“This disciple knows. Apparently, that day, Holy Maiden Aunt was leading us past the Feisha Branch when she saw the two sects fighting fiercely. She couldn’t bear to watch them continue, so she decided to bring them under the Demon Sect.”

“Holy Maiden Aunt said, ‘We’re all one family now, so what’s the point in fighting? Isn’t this the best of both worlds?’”

Looking at the disciples’ admiring expressions, Leng Yeling felt like he shouldn’t have come back.

“Holy Maiden Aunt also took in a disciple. The young master is incredibly diligent in his cultivation.”

Leng Yeling decided he didn’t want to hear anything else about Tang Guo. Since it was just a coincidence, he could stop worrying.

After wandering around the Demon Sect and confirming that Tang Guo wasn’t doing anything that could harm the sect, Leng Yeling finally breathed a sigh of relief and left.

One day, as Tang Guo was sipping tea, Ziyun Zhenren and Chixiao Zhenjun sneakily arrived at the Demon Sect to find her. She suddenly put down her teacup and said to them, “There’s something I need to take care of first.”

“What is it?” Mo Yuntian asked, puzzled.

Ziyun Zhenren and Chixiao Zhenjun exchanged glances. “Sister, is it urgent? Do you need us to go with you?”

“There’s no need for you two to come. It’s nothing major, I’ll be back soon. This time, it’s close by.”

Bai Wuqing’s heart stirred. He had a feeling he had seen this scene before. And sure enough, Tang Guo’s next words confirmed his suspicion.

“Big Brother Mo, let’s go and take over a righteous sect.”
