Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 514

“White Wuqing, can you let go now?”

Bai Wuqing silently released her arm, neither attempting to grab her again nor stopping her from entering the Demon Sect’s territory.

Mo Yuntian let out a sigh of relief and quickly urged Tang Guo to leave. He truly didn’t want to see someone as cold as Bai Wuqing potentially develop something with the School Flower.

Bai Wuqing, however, continued to gaze at her retreating figure, his eyes fixed on her until she disappeared completely from sight.

After a long while, he finally lowered his head and sat on a clean rock nearby.

Once inside the Demon Sect, Mo Yuntian immediately sent people to observe Bai Wuqing outside. When they reported back that Bai Wuqing was actually standing guard at the entrance of the Demon Sect, he nearly bit his tongue in shock.

He quickly tossed aside the beggar’s chicken he was eating and rushed to Tang Guo’s side. “Sister, that guy is still at the entrance of my Demon Sect.”

In truth, he wanted to ask, “Sister, do you two really have a thing going on?”

But he also felt that question might be a bit too direct.

“Big Brother Mo, just ignore him. The roads outside the sect belong to everyone. If he wants to stay there, let him. As long as he doesn’t cause you trouble, it’s fine.”

Mo Yuntian noticed that Tang Guo was actually carefully studying the map he had given her, her face serious. The map displayed the locations of major sects belonging to righteous cultivators.

Tang Guo glanced at the map and asked, “So there are other demonic sects besides the Demon Sect?”

“Ahem…” Mo Yuntian almost choked and quickly explained, “How could demon cultivators only consist of the Demon Sect? That said, compared to other demonic factions, our Demon Sect is the most principled. We don’t indiscriminately kill innocents. While we don’t get along with the righteous factions, we don’t randomly kidnap their disciples and refine them for cultivation either.”

Tang Guo, of course, already knew this. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have come back with Mo Yuntian.

This cultivation world was more brutal than most. Here, demon cultivators, apart from the Demon Sect, were exceptionally depraved.

No one knows who started it, but in this world, the “nourishment” for demonic cultivators was righteous cultivators.

They especially loved targeting the most talented disciples of the major sects. The better the talent, the more effective the refining and absorption process.

The original Tang Guo had been crippled and later, through Feng Feiling’s schemes, ended up falling into the hands of one such demonic cultivator. She “nourishment” for their cultivation.

The Demon Sect, while part of the demonic faction, was still different from typical demonic cultivators. They followed proper cultivation practices. While they clashed with righteous factions, they didn’t engage in refining people for cultivation.

The original plot didn’t delve deeply into Mo Yuntian. It only mentioned that he wasn’t originally a demonic cultivator. For certain reasons, he founded the Demon Sect and established it in a no-man’s land, a place nobody cared about.

Tang Guo pondered for a while before asking, “Big Brother Mo, how many disciples does our Demon Sect currently have? What are their cultivation levels? And how are our cultivation resources?”

Attacking other sects wasn’t something that could be done lightly. Without sufficient confidence, she wouldn’t recklessly attempt such actions. This world was far more dangerous than it seemed.

“We have about three thousand formal disciples.”

That wasn’t a small number.

Mo Yuntian continued, “Out of these, about three thousand are below the Nascent Soul stage.”

Tang Guo: “…” What the hell?? With this level of strength, charging in would just get everyone killed.

“Sister, I can see the disdain in your eyes,” Mo Yuntian’s mouth twitched. “Although most of our disciples are below the Nascent Soul stage, apart from those three thousand, the remaining few hundred are at or above the Soul Formation stage, with about twenty at the Tribulation Stage.”

This was why the Demon Sect had managed to survive and remain unshaken. It allowed Mo Yuntian to confidently confront righteous sects and also stand his ground against other demonic sects.
