The members of the Sunshine Squad truly lived up to their reputation as the most powerful ability squad in Base No. 7. Yan Yi awakened both gold and lightning abilities, and zombies were shot in the head before they could get close to him.
Qin Jiaren, the cold beauty, was also very powerful, having awakened ice abilities. She would freeze the zombies, and then Yan Yi would strike them with two bolts of lightning, rendering the zombies useless.
Shao Qing, on the other hand, had fire abilities and was responsible for clearing out some of the lone zombies.
The squad, relying mainly on the three of them, could carve out a path, while the others were responsible for dealing with any zombies or humans that might launch surprise attacks.
Yan Nian walked beside Yan Yi with a relaxed stride, showing no signs of fear. In contrast, Tang Guo looked very cautious and somewhat scared. No one found this surprising, as it was her first time out.
Yan Nian had already decided that Tang Guo was not a threat. No one would believe that Tang Guo was innocent now, and Yan Yi was with her.
But… Tang Guo being alive was still a hidden danger.
“I sensed her killing intent.”
[What will the host do?]
“Of course… cooperate with her. Right now, I should be very annoying and hate her, wishing she were dead.”
The system swallowed its saliva. No, it was just a string of programs and didn’t have saliva.
Sure enough, Yan Nian unconsciously moved closer to Tang Guo, and on the other side of her was a zombie that still wanted to attack.
Tang Guo felt a strong force push her, followed by a hand grabbing her wrist, then her palm turned into a pushing gesture and landed on Yan Nian’s arm.
Yan Nian fell into the zombie horde with an “unbelievable” look, shouting, “Tang Guo, are you crazy?”
Tang Guo stood dumbfounded, but in reality, she was mentally directing the zombies behind Yan Nian, giving them a special order.
“Beat her, slap her, beat her hard.”
“Nian Nian!!”
Yan Yi’s face turned cold, and he instinctively ran towards Yan Nian.
Meanwhile, the zombies that had been observing from the rooftop also quickly rushed down towards the zombie horde. Su Ao didn’t quite understand why there was a group of zombies here that didn’t follow his command.
Those zombies grabbed Yan Nian and ran, slapping her face hard as they ran.
The sound of slaps echoed, making the veins on Yan Yi’s forehead pop. He couldn’t help but turn back and glare at Tang Guo with a look that promised retribution.
The scene was very strange. More and more zombies surrounded Yan Nian, forcing Yan Yi and Su Ao to clear them out before they could continue forward.
Yan Nian never expected that her plan to use a bitter scheme would go so wrong. These zombies “liked” her too much.
Before she could react, she was “hugged” by the zombies, followed by a series of slaps to her face, making her dizzy.
There were just too many zombies. Countless hands grabbed every part of her body, squeezing and hitting her. She had never suffered such humiliation in her life.
She deeply regretted using such a foolish bitter scheme.
“Why did you push Nian Nian?” Shao Qing’s expression turned ugly. “Are you satisfied only when she gets bitten by zombies?”
“I didn’t push her.” Tang Guo’s eyes no longer showed fear, but rather a bit of coldness. “But that doesn’t matter. No matter who pushed her, she’s already been grabbed by zombies and might not survive.”
