He suddenly felt that a brilliant life was only just beginning. They could still be together for a very long time. It was wonderful. All his regrets seemed to have vanished.
“He said he’s your boyfriend?” Feng Ming did not miss that detail. However, his bride did not seem to have much feeling toward Feng Yu.
Tang Guo nodded. “I’ll explain to you in a moment.”
“All right.” He trusted his beloved. From the moment they met, she had captured his attention. When he learned she was a human consciousness like him, he knew things were far from simple.
Rather than believe what he overheard, he would rather hear it from her directly. Whatever she said, he would believe.
Tang Guo was very satisfied. She turned her gaze to Feng Yu’s game character, looking confused. “Your name is Feng Yu? I’m sorry. I don’t know you. I don’t remember anything between us.”
Feng Ming was a little surprised. As expected, there was some hidden secret behind all this.
“Xiao Guo, how could you not remember me?”
When Feng Yu saw that line, he nearly broke down. How could Xiao Guo, who had treated him so well, forget him? How could she?
He grabbed at his hair and continued pounding on the keyboard, his eyes red as he stared at the bride on the screen.
“My name is Feng Yu. We were boyfriend and girlfriend. You liked me very much. I… I liked you very much too. We were very close. Before your accident, you even ordered a cake for me. There was a sentence written on it that I will never forget in my life.
“It said, liking you is even more passionate than liking games.”
Feng Yu’s eyes burned. “We met because of games. In the past few months, whether we were on a date or having a meal, our topic was always games. When you came to see me, you always asked if there were any new games. When I went to see you, I asked how your experience with the new games was. Later, you said you seemed to like me even more, and you even changed your streaming schedule for me, from eight hours to four.”
“Before that, I never knew you could cook such delicious food, brew such rich coffee, or wake up so regularly.”
“From the first day you came to Feng Corporation, I had a hot homemade lunch every noon. My stomach problems rarely flared up after that.”
“You said my taste wasn’t very good and picked out so many clothes and accessories for me. There’s a whole room of them at your place and another at mine, all chosen by you. The watch on my wrist was your birthday gift to me. I’ve kept wearing it. I’ve been waiting for you to come back.”
Feng Yu’s eyes grew hot, and tears rolled down without him realizing. “Since your accident, I’ve seemed to forget that I need to eat every meal. I wake up several times at night. My stomach twists in pain. When I opened the drawer, I found that the stomach medicine you prepared for me ran out last week.”
Xiao Guo had been so good to him. How could he have been so cruel to her before?
Xia Yi listened to all of it in a daze. So this much had happened between them? That girl named Tang Guo had truly treated Ah Yu so well. No wonder Ah Yu had fallen for her.
“Xiao Guo, do you remember any of this?”
Tang Guo shook her head. “I don’t remember.”
“Xiao Guo…”
Feng Yu controlled his character and rushed forward. Because he had modified the data, the character now moved much more fluidly.
“Don’t be afraid. I’m here to take you away. I’m here to bring you out.”
“No, I’m not going.” Tang Guo quickly clutched Feng Ming’s arm and suddenly looked enlightened. “I understand now. You’re another bad person who makes up stories. You’re here to break me and my husband apart.”
Feng Ming was speechless. He understood now. When his wife decided to mess with someone, she showed no mercy.
