“The clothes they are wearing look a bit like what Ning Luo wore before,” Yin Yao said, narrowing his eyes. “Could Ning Luo have come from here? But that does not quite make sense. If she were from here, she should have returned.”
“Ah Yao, later we can take some of their clothes and put them on. If we blend in like that, no one will suspect anything.”
Yin Yao smiled and cupped Tang Guo’s face, kissing her gently. “Ah Guoguo is really clever. I was just thinking the same thing.”
As long as beastmen did not transform into their true forms, they looked almost the same as humans, just a bit stronger. With Tang Guo’s current slender and fair appearance, once she put on human clothes, no one would think she was a beastman.

Beastmen were indeed not suited for ruling. Under human schemes, various internal conflicts arose among them. Later, a half beastman appeared. He sided with the humans and possessed great ambition. However, he did not want to rule these so called savage beastmen. Instead, he decided to drive the beastmen into wastelands and let them fend for themselves.
He understood the weakness of beastmen. Without the mysterious power between heaven and earth, the strength of beastmen could not be fully brought out. After years of research, he created a barrier that could isolate this mysterious power. He designed it to drive the beastmen into the wastelands. Fearing that the beastmen might return, he also arranged the annual beast tide, ensuring that beastmen would lose members every year.
Of course, he hoped the beastmen would eventually be wiped out. But given the circumstances at the time, that was impossible. The first generation of beastmen were still extremely powerful, so he could only weaken their bloodlines little by little.
After many years, the beastmen lived in the wastelands like primitive people. Because of continuous losses, they lost many abilities and gradually became little different from wild beasts. Every time they fled, they lost a portion of their history.
As for the beast tide, because of that genius half beastman, it still exists to this day. Those beasts are not truly wild beasts. They are animals raised by human households. When the time comes, they are fed a certain herb. After eating it, they can follow the scent and locate the beastmen.
