Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 695

Xili became extremely busy after that, while Tang Guo instead found herself with plenty of free time.

She gave Xili a batch of steel knives. They were something she had found in that pirated system’s shop and were not truly high quality. But in the Beastman world, they were already terrifyingly powerful weapons.

Xili was smart and patient. He waited for the perfect opportunity, then launched a coup. In front of all the Beastmen, he personally killed Lari and the First Warrior, and took control of the Mata Kingdom.

On the very first day of his rule, he publicly announced Tang Guo’s true identity. Her name was Ah Guoguo, and from that day on, she was the Mata Kingdom’s First Sage.

From the moment Tang Guo produced a steel knife out of thin air, the perceptive Xili had never intended to betray her. Deep down, he did not believe Ah Guoguo was merely a brilliant sage. He believed she was a fallen deity of some kind. A god was not someone he could afford to provoke.

No matter why this fallen deity was willing to help him, the benefits he gained were undeniable. He was nothing like Lari, that narrow minded fool.

More importantly, Xili clearly realized that Ah Guoguo had no interest in ruling. Instead, she was very willing to help the Mata Kingdom change and continuously bring them new things.

What left him even more conflicted was that she especially loved urging him to expand territory. Every time he succeeded, she would stare at the map and say, “Keep expanding.” It was as if her only interest was enjoying the process of expansion, with no desire to rule at all. This often left Xili feeling both amused and helpless.

When Tang Guo felt the timing was right, she taught Xili the most primitive method of smelting iron. Xili was so excited that he could barely contain himself.

“Ah Guoguo, whatever you want to do in the future, just say the word. Let the warriors of the Mata Kingdom help you.”

“Xili, don’t get too excited. Focus on smelting the iron properly for me. This thing is very important for your territorial expansion.”

Xili’s mouth twitched. Lately, just hearing the words “expand territory” made him feel slightly nauseous.

“Ah Guoguo, winter is almost here. Let’s talk about expansion next year.” For the first time, Xili felt resistant to expansion. He always had the strange feeling that Ah Guoguo wanted to rule the entire Beastman world.

If that happened, he would be worked to death.

Tang Guo thought about it and agreed. Yin Yao should be finding his way here soon anyway.

“Oh right, in a while, a very beautiful snow wolf may come looking for me. His name is Yin Yao. He is my mate. You are not allowed to hurt him. As soon as you see him, bring him straight to me.”

“No problem. I will pass the order down and make sure everyone pays attention.”

Tang Guo lived very comfortably in the Mata Kingdom and was respected by all of its Beastmen.

Things were not so pleasant in the Lado Tribe.

On the morning of the second day after Tang Guo was handed over, Aoli learned the truth. She suspected that Black Wolf had secretly handed Tang Guo over and caused a huge scene with him. The other Beastmen of the Lado Tribe remained silent and did not criticize Black Wolf at all.

She even saw the relief on their faces, as if they had narrowly escaped death. Her heart completely went cold.

Ning Luo hurriedly said that she believed Black Wolf would never do such a thing and urged Aoli to calm down. The other tribe members echoed Ning Luo’s words, nearly driving Aoli mad with anger.

Vigo could not stand seeing Ning Luo so aggrieved and openly admitted that he was the one who handed Tang Guo over.

Aoli demanded that Black Wolf expel Vigo from the tribe. Ning Luo refused. Vigo was still injured.

In the end, Aoli left the tribe with food, along with Mike and Mier.

Black Wolf tried to stop them, but failed.
