Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 675

Ai Yi was still somewhat dissatisfied. When her living space was carved out, she had her brother Aimo make it a bit larger for her. In the end, Black Wolf took a look and arranged for a nursing female and her three young cubs to move in.

It had originally been fairly spacious, but after the mother and cubs moved in, it no longer felt roomy.

On the surface, Ai Yi smiled warmly at them, but in her heart, she resented Ning Luo deeply. Those cubs wailed every night, making it impossible for her to sleep.

That was not all. When she went out during the day and came back, she would find the cubs jumping around inside her living space, biting and tearing at her belongings. All the food she had stored had been gnawed on by them. She was so angry she nearly fainted.

No matter how dissatisfied she felt, she could not drive them out at this time. Doing so would make the other tribe members look down on her.

She had thought that people would also be assigned to Tang Guo’s place and even took the chance to ask her about it.

“My place is very small. The Chief came to look and decided that it cannot fit even one more person,” Tang Guo said with a smile. When it had been dug out, she had personally measured it to ensure it could only accommodate one person.

Ai Yi did not believe her and followed her to take a look. It really could only fit one person, and only then did she give up.

Still, she could not help complaining to Tang Guo. “Ning Luo’s idea really isn’t very good.” She tried to stir Tang Guo up against Ning Luo. “If your place were big enough, other members would definitely have been assigned to live there too.”

“But no one moved in, did they?” Tang Guo replied with a smile. “The Chief approved this. If Ai Yi is dissatisfied, you can bring it up with the Chief.”

“It’s not that I want to go against the Chief’s decision. I just think Ning Luo did not consider our own tribe members when she made that suggestion,” Ai Yi said as she sat beside Tang Guo. “Ah Guoguo, why don’t you go talk to Ning Luo? What she asked for is a bit too much. Even though her place is in the outer cave, it is quite large and can fit several people.”

Tang Guo narrowed her eyes slightly. “Why should I go talk to her?”

Ai Yi was left speechless, not expecting Tang Guo to respond like that.

“Ah Guoguo, don’t you think Ning Luo is stealing your spotlight? You were the one who came up with digging pits as traps. You were the one who suggested using rolling stones from the mountain to attack the beasts. You were the one who found that sharp blade. Yet Ning Luo seems more popular with the members than you. I think it’s necessary to prove your status and your contributions. You’ve done far more than Ning Luo. The whole tribe should be grateful to you. I’m speaking up for you.”

“Ning Luo hasn’t even been in the tribe that long, yet she’s already so well liked. Your parents were both warriors of the tribe. You’re the daughter of warriors. How can you let Ning Luo overshadow you?” Ai Yi said, as if she were indignant on Tang Guo’s behalf.

No matter what Ai Yi said, Tang Guo did not agree. “If you’re dissatisfied with something, Ai Yi, you can talk to Ning Luo yourself. Why does it have to be me?”

After talking for so long that her throat felt dry and still seeing Tang Guo unmoved, Ai Yi did not want to say any more. Now she even felt resentment toward Tang Guo.

“Forget it, Ah Guoguo. You’re actually this cowardly.”

Leaving behind those words, Ai Yi walked off in embarrassment and anger.

Tang Guo sat at the entrance, nibbling on dried fruit with a smile.

A few days later, a rumor spread through the Lado Tribe. It said that Ah Guoguo disliked Ning Luo and believed that Ning Luo’s arrival had stolen her spotlight.

Tang Guo continued smiling as she ate her dried fruit. It was such a trivial matter.

From the beginning, it had been Ai Yi stirring things up in the middle. Although she had not managed to provoke Tang Guo herself, she still achieved the same effect.

After less than two days, no one paid attention to the rumor anymore.

That morning, all the members were awakened by a violent rumbling sound.
