“Even if we can’t carve out new spaces, we could still fit a few more people into each small space,” Ning Luo proposed another idea. “Chief, what do you think of this suggestion?”
“The Beast Tide lasts at most half a month. If everyone squeezes in a bit, it shouldn’t be a problem,” Ning Luo said generously.
Black Wolf looked at the female before him, who seemed to radiate goodwill in every direction. That feeling in his heart grew stronger and stronger. Ning Luo was Gaien’s mate, so he really should not have been thinking this way, but Ning Luo was simply far too captivating.
“All right,” Black Wolf agreed.
Tang Guo rolled her eyes inwardly. What a love brain. Had he even considered whether the Lado Tribe members would be willing? What Ning Luo meant by “not crowded” was having three to five people lying flat in one small space. But surviving in that tiny space for half a month, how many people could really be squeezed in?
Squeezing together was not the real issue. The real fear was that squeezing together would eventually become something taken for granted.
Feeling bored, she turned and went back to her own dwelling. Her small space was not large to begin with, and with some items stored inside, there was barely room for one person to sleep. She was not worried at all about anyone coming to squeeze in with her.
Yin Yao’s status was special. No matter how foolish Black Wolf became, there was no way he would let anyone squeeze in with Yin Yao.
As for females with multiple mates, squeezing in was obviously impossible.
All things considered, the only ones who could be squeezed were dwellings of members without mates, such as Ai Yi and Aimo.
Tang Guo was actually quite curious to see how Black Wolf would clean up the mess once members from the other two tribes crowded in. She was not worried at all. It had nothing to do with her anyway.
She knew it. Once Black Wolf developed feelings for Ning Luo, everything he did would favor Ning Luo. The careful and thorough Black Wolf from before seemed to vanish completely.
[This is really strange, Host. Black Wolf looks like a smart person. Why does he think everything Ning Luo says makes sense?]
“Probably the female lead halo,” Tang Guo replied.
[But now that Host is here, shouldn’t her halo slowly fade away?] In the past, wasn’t it always like that?
Tang Guo smiled. “Maybe because I haven’t made a move yet.”
System: So it can work like this? Waaah, learned something new.
After Black Wolf and Ning Luo finished discussing things, he turned around, intending to speak to Tang Guo, only to find that the spot where she had been standing was already empty.
Seeing his movement, Ning Luo asked, “Is Ah Guoguo angry?”
“Ah Guoguo has always been like that,” Black Wolf quickly reassured her. “Ning Luo, you don’t need to mind her.”
Ning Luo nodded, then asked, “I heard Gaien say that the Chief likes Ah Guoguo. I also heard other tribe members say that the Chief is waiting for Ah Guoguo to come of age.” She smiled as she asked, while also sizing Black Wolf up.
She had not noticed before, but now that she looked closely, she realized that Black Wolf truly deserved his title as the tribe’s strongest warrior. Not only was he handsome, his build was tall and imposing. He was the kind of man that naturally drew one’s gaze.
As she kept looking, her cheeks flushed slightly, and she quickly looked away. “Ah Guoguo being liked by the Chief is really her good fortune. It’s just that her temper isn’t very good. I tried to befriend her before, but she wasn’t willing.”
“She doesn’t like playing with others. If Ning Luo wants to make friends, you can look for other people in the tribe. They’re all very friendly.”
After a brief pause, Black Wolf added, “As for waiting until Ah Guoguo comes of age, that was really just a joke. Ning Luo, there’s no need to listen to others talking nonsense.” After saying that, he glanced at Ning Luo with a hint of nervousness.
