Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 669

The scene that followed was something Black Wolf had never imagined.

Under the moonlight, Ning Luo’s completely uncovered body shone pale and luminous. He knew he shouldn’t be hiding in the shadows watching, yet seeing her flushed and shy expression, he found himself unable to look away.

These past few days, Ning Luo’s conduct had been truly captivating, and he admired her deeply.

She was clearly a weak female, yet her mind was remarkably clever. She had taught them to make useful weapons and traps, and even knew methods for treating minor illnesses and injuries.

That sharp little knife she carried had brought great convenience to the tribe. He had never seen anything like it before, didn’t even know what it was made from, but it was astoundingly sharp.

He had even thought that if such a knife were made larger, they would no longer need to fear wild beasts.

A single Beastman with a blade like that could easily handle one beast on his own.

In the moonlight, he saw another side of her, her fair and tender body was far too enticing.

She was already eye-catching enough, but now she drew him in even more, making him forget his past intention to wait for the little female Ah Guoguo to grow up.

When he saw Ning Luo’s body beneath Gaien’s powerful frame, he wished with all his might that it was he covering her instead. He wanted to rush over and push Gaien away.

Only when it ended did Black Wolf return to himself. Cloaked in the darkness, he watched Ning Luo’s weak and boneless figure carried inside by Gaien. He stood in place for a long time, letting the night wind cool his burning head, trying to clear his thoughts.

“Luo Luo is beautiful, isn’t she?”

It was Aimo.

Black Wolf turned, frowning. “Aimo, what are you doing here?”

“Chief, what are you doing here?” Aimo grinned sheepishly. “You don’t think Luo Luo is ugly, do you?”

“No.”

“Then she is beautiful,” Aimo said firmly. “From the first moment I saw Luo Luo, I liked her. It’s a pity Gaien monopolized her. Someone as beautiful and clever as Luo Luo shouldn’t belong to Gaien alone.”

“Chief, you think so too, don’t you?”

Black Wolf’s face darkened, uneasy at being called out.

Aimo went on, “Luo Luo is so good, it’s not strange for the Chief to like her too. Selfishly speaking, I hope the Chief succeeds.”

He wasn’t Gaien, and he wasn’t Black Wolf either. If Black Wolf made the first move, then he could slip in as well, sharing Luo Luo. That was what his sister Ai Yi had told him. He thought about it and found it made sense. With how things were now, surely more than one powerful male would want her.

If another male joined her side, then others like him would have the chance to win her affection too. If she accepted, he could stay by her side. As long as he could remain near her, he would do anything.

“Don’t delude yourself,” Black Wolf said flatly, before turning back toward the cave.

Yet despite his words, his mind kept replaying the beauty he had seen beneath the moonlight.

Even in his dreams that night, it was Ning Luo who appeared, and the one with her was him.

Clearly, Black Wolf had not rested well.

So when Tang Guo saw him the next morning, faint shadows hung beneath his eyes.

She had known exactly what had happened last night. Walking up to him, she asked with a trace of concern, “Chief, didn’t you sleep well?”

“Thinking about the tribe,” Black Wolf answered stiffly, turning his head aside. His feelings were tangled. It seemed he wanted to be with Ning Luo even more.
