“Having Guoguo is enough for me.”
Tang Guo smiled. “You really know how to talk, Ah Jiu. You weren’t like this at the beginning. I remember someone who had a catchphrase.”
Qin Jiu’s face darkened.
“Qin Jiu, a demon-catching Daoist, lives his whole life only to catch demons and make money.”
Qin Jiu quickly pulled her into his arms and kissed her on the cheek. “Now I have one more hobby, doting on my wife.”
“Alright, alright.” Tang Guo pointed at the storage ring. “Then this is my betrothal gift to you. You’re not allowed to refuse. You like doting on your wife, and I like doting on my husband. That’s mutual affection. Nothing wrong with that.”
This time Qin Jiu truly had no way to refuse. When Guoguo was gentle and good to him like this, he could not say no.
“Even if it meant losing half my lifespan in the next life, I would still be willing to meet you.”

“Don’t worry. Your oath will come true,” Tang Guo said with a smile. She did not stop him from swearing. “If you ever wrong me, the outcome won’t need to be said. It will definitely be miserable.”
Qin Jiu could not help but laugh helplessly as he held her hand. “Guoguo really has a hard heart.”
“Only now you realize it? When it comes to those who treat me badly or hurt me, I am as hard as stone,” she said seriously.
Qin Jiu believed her.
Then her brows curved again, her eyes full of affection. She floated up and kissed his lips. “As long as you stay cute, I’ll only be good to you.”
Qin Jiu was almost dizzy from that mix of threat and sweetness. He tightened his grip on her hand. “I will be cute.”
“That’s good.”
Tang Guo was very satisfied.

“Ah Jiu, let’s go to the next place.” Tang Guo floated onto Qin Jiu’s back. She still preferred being carried by him.
Qin Jiu also liked carrying his ghost wife. Her arms circled his neck, and her soul felt warm rather than cold.
He thought to himself that his ghost wife was truly remarkable. Ghosts were usually cold and yin in nature, yet she could regulate her aura and temperature at will.
He also thought that he was fortunate.
