“Already changed.”
Thinking about the data he had just modified, Feng Yu temporarily forgot how Xia Yi’s behavior and posture ruined that beautiful body.
He quickly sat down in front of the computer, watched the loaded game interface, controlled the character, and headed toward Zombie Town.
Tang Guo and Feng Ming appeared at the same time in the newly loaded Zombie Bride game. Tang Guo knew the whole story, but Feng Ming did not.
The sudden change of environment made him suspicious.
Even so, he did not forget to hold his bride tightly. For the first time, he had the urge to break through these games, even to seize control of them.
He was afraid that the next time the scene changed, his bride might not be by his side. If that happened, with no clues at all, where would he even go to find her?
“Ah Ming, what are you thinking about?”
Feng Ming replied, “Do you know who those people are, the ones who keep coming in and trying to separate us?”
“I know. Bad people.”
Feng Ming shook his head and smiled, stroking Tang Guo’s hair. “Actually, you are just a string of data. You might not understand, but I still want to tell you. There shouldn’t be secrets between husband and wife.”
Tang Guo thought, Data? Really?
“You were created by them. I’m afraid they might decide to delete you one day. If that happens, I’ll never see you again.”
Holding back her laughter, Tang Guo asked, “Isn’t Ah Ming data too?”
“Although I wish I could tell you that I am, I really am not.” Feng Ming spoke very seriously. He cupped Tang Guo’s face and kissed her forehead. “I should be considered brainwaves. You probably still don’t understand, but I want you to know the truth.”
“So you originally belonged to the same world as the people outside?”
Feng Ming smiled and nodded. “Yes. I was originally one of them.”
“Then how did you come here?” Tang Guo asked curiously.
Feng Ming gave a bitter smile. “I have been fascinated with games since I was young. Once I came of age, I began designing games at the Feng Corporation according to my own ideas. I was born with talent in this field. What others needed ten years to research, I could figure out in half a year. Later, after reading novels about fully immersive online games, I started researching that concept. Eventually, I succeeded.”
Tang Guo was slightly surprised. So the era of fully immersive games had actually begun with Feng Ming?
“At the time, I was so excited that I did not complete many safety tests. I had a manufacturer produce a fully immersive game pod according to my specifications, prepared a game for myself, and secretly tested it.”
He ended up playing himself into it.
“Then I lost consciousness. When I woke up again, it was before I met you. I felt that everything around me was wrong, as if something had activated me. Later I realized this was a game. I eventually found the Feng Corporation logo inside it and learned this was a horror game designed by someone from the Feng family.”
The system said, “Host, I found him. Feng Ming, a genius game designer, the younger brother of the president of the Feng Corporation. By seniority, he would be Feng Yu’s uncle. The outside world describes him as someone born for games and who died for games.”
Tang Guo nodded, the corner of her lips lifting. Feng Yu’s uncle. Interesting. This was the first time she had heard of a game designer who tested a game and ended up getting himself killed.
“Then why are you telling me all this?”
Bang.
Tang Guo turned her head toward the person who had rushed in.
“Bride.” Feng Yu controlled the game character to walk up to Tang Guo. The character stood in front of her and asked excitedly, “What is your name?”
