The people in the tribe didn’t want to die, did Ah Guoguo want to die?
They pushed Ah Guoguo into the fire pit, so Ah Guoguo had every right to hate them, to take revenge on them. Tang Guo smiled faintly. She had to take revenge too.
She wouldn’t stop anything. She would let it all unfold naturally. As for the final outcome of the beastman tribe, that would depend on how things developed and what choices they made.
She wanted to see how they would choose this time.
“What do you think? What will they choose this time?”
Those who had hurt Ah Guoguo, abandoned her… Ah Guoguo’s parents died protecting the tribe members. They probably never imagined that their child would one day be handed over in place of Ning Luo by the very people they’d protected.
Come to think of it, that disaster wasn’t even caused by Ah Guoguo. She only went in Ning Luo’s place. It was because of Ning Luo’s existence that she endured so much torment and ultimately died without a proper burial.
If Ah Guoguo’s parents had known while they were alive that their child would be treated like this in the future, would they still have chosen to save those tribe members?
They probably would have.
Tang Guo thought about it and smiled indifferently, swinging her legs back and forth. “Tongzi, what do you think is the harshest punishment for beastmen?”
She didn’t really like killing people outright. It lacked satisfaction and was the most basic form of revenge. When she hurt others, she preferred to hurt their hearts first, and only then their bodies. For those who had wronged her, she wanted them to either die in deep regret for what they had done, or die with a sense of unresolved pain. Only then would she consider it the perfect revenge.
[Host, you’re making it hard for me. I’m just a string of code, I don’t understand how to torment beastmen.] The system wanted to cry. Could she change the question? This one was too difficult.
Tang Guo narrowed her eyes. “Then let me change the question. What is most important to beastmen? What do they care about most?”
A look of excitement flashed across her face. Yes, revenge was most satisfying when it meant taking away what the other person cared about the most.
The system sensed the surge in Tang Guo’s emotions and trembled nervously. [Host, please calm down. Aren’t you getting a bit too excited? Remember, in this world, Yin Yao is a pretty good person. He probably doesn’t meet the conditions to collapse the world.]
“Relax, I don’t plan on collapsing the world. Compared to that, I prefer establishing new rules.” Tang Guo smiled brightly. “Like the Sunset Empire, the Great Tang Dynasty kind of thing. Mm, I’ve got an idea.”
“Beastmen care most about food and the safety of their shelter.”
The system asked weakly, [So… Host, are you going to make them homeless?] That really was a harsh move.
But if they still followed the original path in the end, then it couldn’t blame the host. After all, Ah Guoguo’s ending was so tragic. The host had taken on all of Ah Guoguo’s emotions and thoughts.
You could say that in this world, as long as her body was Ah Guoguo’s, then she was Ah Guoguo. Even if she was fully aware of who she really was, all her actions would revolve around Ah Guoguo. The only exception would probably be romance. The host was quite persistent and a bit of a germaphobe, so she would do that her own way.
But whatever she chose, it would be the best. Even if the original Ah Guoguo came back, she would think this outcome was good.
“Who said I have to make them homeless?” Tang Guo lowered her head and smiled. “Keeping them stuck in place while the whole world rapidly advances, don’t you think that’s even better?”
The system’s data started to glitch. Okay, got it. Host is still the one who does big things.
