Song Ye ran the school very smoothly. Over the past few years, many houses had been gradually built in the village, and staff dormitories were also set up around the factory.
Since the school couldn’t be built right away, he temporarily converted part of the staff dormitories into classrooms.
There weren’t too many people at the time, so it was enough.
Unexpectedly, the adult class became the most popular. And the most active participants weren’t the men, but the women of the village, flocking in one after another.
In the end, several teachers in the adult class discussed and arranged daily lessons. They posted the schedule outside in advance, allowing villagers to attend classes based on what they needed to learn, which solved the earlier awkward situation.
Not long after, the educated youths who had passed the entrance exam returned to Tangjia Village.
They came from the big cities, dragging large and small bags, weary and dusty from travel.
What they saw was no longer the rundown village of the past, but a clean and orderly place, with every household having a beautiful home, and flower-filled courtyards outside their doors. In the words of outsiders, these standalone courtyards could already be considered villas.
The roads in the village were also well-paved and smooth.
When they walked in, they thought they had come to the wrong place. This was clearly a paradise.
Tang Tianyu personally welcomed them and temporarily arranged for all the teachers to stay in the dormitory.
The next day, Song Ye met with them in person, and both sides signed contracts. Based on the terms, Song Ye assigned them housing. Those willing to stay in Tangjia Village were even given household registration.
The returning educated youths barely hesitated. All of them chose to settle in Tangjia Village.
As for the preschool teacher, she was also a college student among the educated youths. She had a gentle appearance and a particularly lovely smile. In addition, two life skills teachers were appointed from among the village women, responsible for managing the more mischievous children.
With that, the school was officially on track.
As things developed, the population in Tangjia Village continued to grow, and the village began gradually expanding outward.
Song Ye was considering how to plan the development of Tangjia Village for long-term benefit. Just then, Tang Guo handed him a stack of drawings.
“What’s this?”
Tang Guo held onto Song Ye’s arm, and Song Ye naturally pulled his little wife into his embrace while flipping through the drawings. When he saw the comprehensive building plans on them, he almost couldn’t stop himself from standing up on the spot.
This wasn’t just a real estate blueprint. It was clearly a complete city layout plan. It didn’t just have an overall view, but detailed maps of every section: where the green spaces were, where the roads were, where the commercial zones were, where the residential buildings were, where the malls would go… everything was laid out meticulously. The precision and detail in the drawings were astonishing.
Even if a city like this hadn’t been built yet, Song Ye could already see its flourishing future just from the drawings.
His Guo Guo was truly amazing.
He couldn’t help but hug her and kiss her. “Guo Guo, you’re incredible.”
After flipping through all the drawings, he realized that Tangjia Village could be expanded step by step based on the plans, and there would basically be no problems. He had truly married a treasure. She had solved the very issue he had been lost over.
All this time, he had been thinking about how to develop Tangjia Village.
And now he had it. Without expansion, Tangjia Village would remain just Tangjia Village. But once it expanded, it would be something entirely different.
With his goals now clear, Song Ye threw himself back into work.
Of course, no matter how busy he was, he never forgot to take his little wife with him wherever he went.
