“How can there be only a few hundred left?”
Xia Yi fell into deep confusion. She was certain that in nearly a year, there was no way she could have spent several million. At most, it should have been three to five hundred thousand.
Thinking about how Feng Yu had not found her all this time, she guessed he was probably still researching that game and had no time to care about her.
So Xia Yi decided to go to the bank and check the transaction records to see where the money had gone.

She had to cut back on food and clothing expenses. But after only a few days, accustomed as she was to a luxurious lifestyle, she felt uncomfortable all over. In the end, she had no choice but to find ways to sell the diamond necklaces and gemstones.
On Feng Yu’s side, by the time he realized, Xia Yi had long since disappeared.
He could not find her for the moment and could only have people keep watch.
“She will show herself one day.”
Feng Yu sat in his chair, his face pale and unshaven. The only neat thing about him was his well-fitted suit and tie. The expensive watch on his wrist still looked brand new. He did not even touch it now, afraid of wearing it down or making it look less perfect.
“She is not used to life outside,” Feng Yu said with a dark smile. “Once those jewels appear, we will be able to trace her location. Keep an eye out. When you find her, bring her back.”
“Remember.” The dark smile vanished, replaced by a gentle expression. “Do not hurt her. Especially her body. Not a single scratch. And do not grip her wrist too hard.”
“Understood.”
Once he was alone in the office, Feng Yu logged into the game again. He still entered as a player, looking for opportunities to speak with Tang Guo.
Originally, he had wanted to eliminate the Zombie King and replace him himself. He had never expected that even after deleting the Zombie King’s data, the other party would still reappear.
He did not know where the problem lay. Now he could only settle for less and enter the game every day to see Xiao Guo.
When he arrived in the game, Tang Guo was watching the zombies at play. She sat on the threshold, nibbling on a chicken drumstick, her appearance delicate and lovely. No matter what she ate or what she did, there was a kind of natural grace to her.
Feng Yu thought to himself that he must retrieve Xiao Guo’s body. He absolutely could not allow Xia Yi to ruin it.
