A chill ran down Xia Yi’s back. Then she heard Feng Yu say, “As for Xia Yi, we will think of a way slowly. I will not do anything to harm others again.”
Xia Yi’s heart sank. So if there were no suitable body, she would remain a bodiless brainwave forever, trapped inside a computer until she faded away?
She pressed her lips together and watched Feng Yu, lost in his frenzy without realizing it. At last, she made a decision. She would leave.
She turned and went back to the bedroom, took a bank card, her phone, her ID, and when she saw the pile of expensive jewelry, she gritted her teeth and quickly stuffed some into her bag.
She did not want to become a brainwave again, not knowing what she might go through. She had to leave.
As long as she left, Feng Yu would not be able to find her. Then this body would truly be hers.
Tang Guo had already taken Feng Yu away from her. This body had been seized by Feng Yu for her in the first place. She had known nothing about it. Why should she bear the consequences?

“Do you still like him?” Feng Ming asked uncertainly. Was that foolish nephew really related to him?
Tang Guo shook her head. “Why would I like him? Do I have something wrong with my brain? Or has a zombie eaten it?”
“Then does Guo Guo like me?” Feng Ming asked with a hint of expectation. “By now, many years have passed since my accident. My body must have been destroyed long ago. I can never leave.”
“But Guo Guo’s body still exists.” If she wanted to leave, he truly could not stop her.
After all, Tang Guo could easily show him scenes from outside. His bride was far from simple.
“Do you want me to leave?” she asked.
“Of course not,” Feng Ming answered quickly. “But if Guo Guo wishes to return to the real world, I cannot stop you, even though I want to.”
“Good,” Tang Guo said, clearly pleased. “Since you are so good, I will not leave.” She smiled brightly. “The digital world is actually quite nice.” She did not hide it. “From the beginning, I never intended to go back out. I just did not expect to meet you.”
