Transmigrated Canon Fodder, Please Calm Down! Chapter 637

The aroma wafting from the High Priest’s stone house caught Ning Luo’s attention, and she couldn’t help but glance over in that direction.

She tugged at Gaien’s arm. “Who lives in that stone house?”

“That’s the High Priest. He’s very powerful. When our tribe members get injured, only the High Priest can heal them. If any of the tribe’s little ones get sick, they all go to the High Priest.” As he said this, Gaien grew serious. “Luo Luo, don’t provoke the High Priest. If you anger him, the whole tribe will drive you out.”

Ning Luo remembered how she had almost been eaten by a wild beast right after transmigrating to this strange place, and a chill ran through her heart. “Don’t worry, I won’t mess with the High Priest.”

In her mind, the High Priest was probably some old man. One of those cranky, god-stick-type geezers.

She was a little gloomy. She hadn’t even checked her college entrance exam results before transmigrating to this godforsaken place, and then she got picked up by this big lion Gaien, who said she was going to be his mate.

Well, after spending a day in the tribe, she finally understood what being a “mate” meant. It meant being a wife. She glanced at Gaien’s rugged yet handsome face and that body packed with explosive muscle, he was hotter than any gym bro.

She thought of that moment when Gaien defeated the beast. God, he had looked insanely handsome. If she really couldn’t go back, maybe dating a beastman wasn’t such a bad idea. Gaien treated her pretty well, after all. He gave in to her about everything. That night, even though he was clearly afraid of fire, he still fetched the fire for her. Thinking about it warmed her heart.

“Luo Luo, you’re amazing. With your method of making meat broth, our tribe will be able to eat cooked food from now on.”

Even though most people were afraid of fire, the taste of the meat broth was just too good. No beastman in the tribe could resist such delicious temptation.

Compared to the raw meat’s bloody taste or the dryness of jerky, which was hard to swallow, the meat broth was absolutely the best. Especially in the winter, a bowl would warm you right up.

“Luo Luo, I’m heading out with the others to gather food. Don’t wander around, the area outside the tribe is very dangerous.”

Ning Luo nodded obediently. “Don’t worry, I won’t wander off.” She wasn’t stupid. She wasn’t like the powerful beastmen. If she ran into a wild beast, she’d definitely be on the menu.

After Gaien gave her a few more reminders, he finally left reluctantly under the urging of the others. Ning Luo watched him go, feeling that this beastman really was kind of cute.

Once all the male members who could go out had left, the female members of the tribe immediately began gossiping about Ning Luo.

Even though she had brought them the benefit of meat broth, not many of the female members liked her.

Because of her presence, she had drawn the attention of all the strong males. Some males who already had mates couldn’t help but sneak glances at Ning Luo, which made their mates feel threatened.

Ning Luo could sense the hostility from these women. She sat outside her cave, feeling bored, wondering how she was going to survive in this place.

Just then, she saw Tang Guo walk out from that secluded stone house. Her eyes lit up. Tang Guo had a slender figure and features that were more beautiful than any of the other female beastmen in the tribe.

Ning Luo quickly stood up. Seeing Tang Guo heading toward a cave not far away, she called out, “Hey, I’m Ning Luo. What’s your name?”
